Mary, my co-worker of two years, recently started to flirt with me discreetly at the workplace. It happened enough times that I know she is flirting with me, and not me being imaginative. But there is one problem, Mary is newly engaged.
I don't know who the guy is. All I know is that Mary has complained before that they seldom meet because of their busy work schedules. Other than that, I don't know much of Mary's love life.
As for myself, I am not very good with women by nature. My home, school and social environment had a part to play. You can say that your typical 16 year-old teenager is probably more experienced with flirting with girls than I am. Many of the girls I had chased before had blown me off. Some had use humiliating words on me. Over time, I had learnt the hard way how to talk to women, how to be able to hold a decent conversation with them, crack a funny and stuff like that. I don't talk so much to Mary at work as some male colleagues do, but I know that I am the guy who made Mary laugh the most. I made her throw a laughing fit and she said she found me a funny guy to talk to.
I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I am not up to my eyeballs in credit card or mortgage debt. I am not mental either. I exercise regularly to stay fit, but I am not your Mr. Muscular type. I am the normal, physically fit chap. But I suck with women.
I have known Mary for over two years, and I never thought I would be fond of her. Not till recently, when the flirting persisted over a couple of weeks. Mary was always the type of girl that I thought was out of my league; the kind that I would chase if I had enough guts, and it usually ends in failure. Either I get rejected, or she gives enough body language to shut me off before I get to make a move.
You can imagine how happy I was when Mary started to flirt with me. But she can't commit. I am now at a cross-roads; should I pretend nothing is happening and continue to flirt, or should I find some private time to ask Mary what is going on, or should I attempt to advance and be the third party in a love-triangle? But I like being a good guy. I don't want to be some jerk who breaks up another guy's happiness.
Yet, I suck so much with women that this is like my first real close experience in many many years with a woman whom I actually am fond of.
What should I do?

Third parties won't win because most of us choose the 2-party system.
My guess is that most of us don't do research before voting with conscience. And vote what you feel will do a good job such as members not within the bipartisan party.
I saw that in a couple of You Tube videos there is a third party microphone for the iPod Touch. I've seen only one site (Ridax's) and I don't know if that is the only one. Ok, so my wife originally rented a condo back in July of 07. We were separated at the time, however we got back together and I ended up moving in with her in August of 07, however I never signed or was added to a lease. Although I did pay a couple monts rent with my check which I have been told makes me a legal tenet is that true? Our toilet flooded due to her negligent plumbing and our entire condo was flooded they had to replace the carpet, at first she refused to put us up in a hotel instead telling us to stay with a friend, I knew that this was highly illegal and so we told her that she legally had to put us up since we had no where else to go. She keep arguing and finally put us up, when we got back she began harassing us, putting notes on our door with huge amounts of tape, knocking on the door at insane times in the morning and leaving harassing messages for my wife about how I had to move. She even went as far as to say that we were responsible for causing the toilet to flood, even though the plumber said that it was a faulty outdated valve! Every time we would ask her to fix something including the stairs to the apartment which were rusty and falling apart she would say "Absolutely not!" we even had the city come out and tell us that the stairs had to be fixed due to the faultyness and sent her a letter to get them fixed. In addition she disclosed information to third parties about my wife on several occasions and even went as far as to tell other tenets on the property that the reason why a light in the laundry room could not be fixed was because we would not let her into our condo to fix the wiring which is absolutely not true! She then filed an eviction against us for subletting, because we were renting a room out to someone. We hired an attorney and he was horrible so we ended up settling to move out early. When we got the Justification of security deposit back from her, she claimed that not only were we not getting our security deposit of 2500 back but that we owed her an Additional 2500 for damages which included things like replacing the blinds because they were filthy, replacing a toilet paper roll for 2.99, replacing screens that were never even in the house to begin with, fixing a jammed disposal, painting the walls, and putting poly coating under the carpet in addition to replacing the entire carpet again!!! My question is can she do this? I mean first of all we cleaned the condo thoroughly when we left and we are not responsible for poly coating the carpet, nor are we responsible for screen doors and screens that were never in the house in the first place! The blinds and the painting was normal wear and tear and its not our fault that her disposal system sucks and got broken. Can a landlord sue you for stuff over the security deposit especially if it is not justified. She is trying to retaliate against us for the toilet that flooded and I think we can prove this quite easily to the judge with all the evidence we have. Anybody out there have any thoughts on this?
Yes we do have a pre move in inspection form that lists the screens as missing. But are we responsable for the poly coating on the carpet? We did have dogs but they replaced the carpet and the pads so we would not be responsable for the poly coating right?

Anyway, we have no contact since the breakup. Well, within that 8 weeks, I text him and said "happy birthday:, but I never heard from him. I just wanted to be okay and polite to him.That was the only time I contacted him. I am still in a rollercoaster ride feeling...sometimes okay..sometimes I cry and feel sad. Its been 8 weeks now since we have broken up...is this too long or wait for more months till I get over him? Ever since my wife, child, and I moved away we do not get contacted by anyone in my family for most any reason until I make the call to them. We have had a bad relationship for quite some time with my sister and mother. My sister recently had her new baby and I was the last person to find out when it happened. I am going to buy a diagnostic kit, and am trying to decide which ones. The two I have it narrowed down two are the Welch Allyn 97200-MS (Black handle, lithium battery) and the 97200-MC (Silver handle, NiCAD battery.) They both have the same opthalma/Otoscope heads. They are both rechargeable, and the black one has no battery memory because it's lithium. But it's a time bomb, and the battery will have to be replaced at a hefty $150. They silver one has crappy battery memory with NiCAD, but can use your own C batteries. My question is this; Can I buy third party (duracell/energizer) rechargeable C batteries, leave them in the handle, and use the built in charger originally designed for the included NiCAD batteries to charger the other ones? Any information you have would be MOST helpful. I just want on that I can have with 30 years without having to buy $150 batteries every 5 years. I just want to get a good one now and have it for a long time. Thanks!

In Canada if the police lay a charge against an individual [which is innocent] based off of allegations made by a third party [which was not there and had no actual knowledge of what happened] for a crime against another person, is this considered a tort? Lets say damages were incurred to the individual such as a month spent in jail. Would such an act by police not be in the best interest of society? I know that decisions made by police officers must be hard and they work a very difficult job. If such an act is a tort what would the tort be? Negligence? Malicious Prosecution? Because I know that malicious prosecution cases are rarely won and they have very specific criteria. So what instruments are there in our legal system to protect individuals against wrongful prosecution or jail?

My grandmother has been stuck in a nursing home even though she probably doesn't need one. My dad S, is the oldest with 3 siblings. About a year ago they all went to court because the middle brother M wanted a guardian. My dad's theory was that there should be a third party handling the money since there is over $10,000 a month in oil royalties that is supposed to be going to her.
M hired a very expensive attorney to fight to retain custody, and I should mention that he and his wife swindled her mother and 2 brothers out of a lot of money and she dies penniless, literally.
M does not care about his mother, he has called her a stupid B****, told her he wishes she would just die already, and last week it got very cold and he would not even spend $20 on a blanket for her. He has to drive about 35 miles to see her and brings her $15 a month to get a perm, no other money. Every trip he charges the estate about $750 to see her.
What concerns me is that my dad's youngest brother D took all of my grandpa's classic cars after he died and retitled them in his name. My dad's sister G stole tons of stuff from the house, as well as her kids. And M stole the oil royalties. G has a restraining order against her for abusing my grandmother by nailing her room shut and locking her in rooms. From what my mother tells me, the police refused to prosecute, and that doesn't surprise me, D seems to be a loudmouth always in trouble with the law and his son is a 10 time loser and convicted sex offender.
It seems like everyone is crooked up there, and I can't figure out why the police won't prossecute even though there is proof that she has violated the restraining order multiple times. Everyone is hiring attorneys except my parents and is now pushing to probate my grand dad's will, why? Also the attorney they have is as old as my great grandmother, and is always demanding more money but keeps delaying the court date. There was supposed to be an emergency hearing to remove M as guardian and instate my dad in March of 2008, then May, then July, then September, and is now on for January 30, 2009, an EMERGENCY hearing taking 10 months? Also M is givng my grandmother pills that no one knows what they are as well as giving her cold suppresants that her doctor has specifically said could kill her. What can we do? It seems like my mother is part of the problem too, telling my fiance that she regrets meeting my dad and how horrible his family is (however hers is worse), and the other day she said that it would be nice to have only even $50,000 of her money. I would like to take health insurance for my family i.e Husband(35), wife(30) and son (4 yrs). I inquired about LIC mediclaim from an agent. He suggested going for Rs. 50000 mediclaim for each of us.
But there were certain questions he was not able to answer like
1. Is the LIC playing Third party Role
2. If wife is hospitalised and the surgery cost Rs. 90000 then what is the amount the insurance will pay. Is it only 50000 per yr or any amount above Rs. 50000
3. It does not cover any TESTS done during regular visit to the doctor and also during sugeries
Premium is around Rs. 2200 p.a does this looks right.

How to raise a spoiled child
Raising a spoiled child is very easy it gets easier if you were spoiled yourself. Any parents can raise a spoiled child, having a lot of money isn’t required to spoil a child. Even if you weren’t spoiled when you were a child it’s still doable to you. Here are the steps to raise a spoiled child.
First of all saying no to the child is a no to you. A 7 years old child doesn’t like to be told no even if he or she was playing with knives you still shouldn’t say no to her or him , but instead say “ this isn’t what pretty/handsome girls/boys do “ . If the child wanted to be the boss in the house and give you orders then you should do them with a big smile on your face, also you should tell yourself that this what being a parent is all about. A Cell phone and an I-pod are a must and you shouldn’t get them a fake cell phone because they can tell, 7 years old child wants a cell phone that can take pictures and if you can’t buy it then just give them yours.
Second, the child doesn’t get blamed for anything. If one day you think the spoiled child is just being too much of a spoiled brat and should be sent to a religious strict school. Then you should stop that negative thinking and start thinking positive by giving yourself positive thoughts saying that you deserve this because you are the one who got that child in life in the first place. If the child broke a jar in the living room its not his fault, its your fault as a parent that you put it there according to Murphy’s law anything that can go wrong, it will. The child shouldn’t get the blame for this because at the end of the day he or she is just a child.
Third, the child should always be invited to other’s parties and birthdays. It is your responsibility as a parent to socialize your child with the kids in the block. You should be informed about all the parties that go on around your area and get your child inside those parties. However if you weren’t informed about a party in advanced then just crush in, and just before drive your child to the party ,at the car tell the child that this party is actually for him or her but the people lost the address so they put it here. And if somehow he found out that was not invited to any birthday parties it’s still not his fault that all kids are mean. After that all what you can do is to throw him or her a birthday with the excuse that its his or her older brother’s birthday but you forgot about it because you are too busy looking for a cell phone that takes pictures. And no matter what people say, Santa is
real.
In conclusion, if the child grows up and reaches 40 years old with social, financial, mantel, psychical problems. It’s still not his fault it is your. Remember?! You spoiled him/her!

We have been renting a house to this male tenant. He has not paid rent for 3 months now. He doesn't speak to us about maintenance or repairs that need to be done inside the house. We have called and he never answers his phone, nor does he reply to the messages we leave.
He just goes to the local bi-law office and reports the things that need to be repaired. We receive a letter advising us of the things that have to be done. We call the tenant to arrange to come in to do the work.
He does not answer. We send a written notice to let him know that we want in...That is the law...24 hr. notice from landlord to enter.
He has some third party friend of his call and say that he does not want us entering the premises. He has 2 dogs in the house, so we cannot go in even if we tried to do it legally.
Today I receive a letter from the Landlord and Tenant board telling us that he has applied for a hearing, but does not state the reason why.
I think he wants to report the things that have to be repaired, but I don't know for sure yet. What do you think his game is.
Why does he report us, but then not let us in to make repairs?
What is his game? I have sent and eviction notice, but I don't know what to expect next.
I was involved in a wreck on Halloween. This is going to be long, but please, anyone willing to read this give me advice.
I was in the merge lane on the entrance ramp to the interestate. I turned on my signal to merge, checked my mirror, saw a car, turned off my signal to wait for an opening. About 3-4 secs after I saw the car, they side swiped me. They did not break and were going to fast for me to see a license plate. I stopped immediatly, calling 911 thinking it was a hit and run.
When the officer got there, he informed me the other car was up the road, and escorted me up the shoulder of the interestate about a mile up the road to where the other car is.
The officer spoke to the other party about the wreck first. I saw him speaking to one lady, and then to a couple of different people in the group. There was another vehicle that stopped with them, and there were several teenagers/kids and they were all milling around talking to each other.
The officer asked me what happened, I told him what I said in the above paragraphy. He said ok, give me a min to write this up. He did not ask any questions or ask me to clarify anything at all. Since he didnt ask me any other questions, I assumed that the other party had said that they had swerved and hit me. I was niave enough to believe that the other party was telling the truth and that the officer was doing his job.
When the officer gave me my info back, I asked him how this was going to play on my insurance. He said that since I was in the merge lane I had to yeild and the insurance would likely say it was my fault. TO clarify, I was like, so even though they hit me, I will have to fight this. He said probably. After thinking about that, I later realized that he may not have understood that the other vehicle swerved into my lane. I called back to ask to speak with him, the dispatcher said they would give him a message, but he never called back.
Well, I called the insurance and waited on them to do their thing. I didnt even get the police report because I assumed everything was accurate.
When I was recording my story with the insurance, they start talking about a third car.
Apparently, the car that stopped with the car that hit me is claiming that they were hit as well. My car only made contact with one other vehicle, and it happened as the vehicle swerved into my lane. The vehicle that hit me is claiming that I swerved into their lane, hit them and caused them to hit a vehicle on the other side. The third vehicle that claims that they saw me swerve and hit the second vehicle and tried to swerve to avoid the second vehicle. According to the diagram the officer noted in the report, there is no way the third vehicle could have seen that. The police report said that I failed to yeild right of way and caused the wreck. Problem there is that I was FULLY in my own lane when I was hit. I had NOT left my lane, nor attempted to leave my lane. I turned my signal on, looked, I could not get over, turned my signal off to wait.
Now, my story is that I was completly in my lane, the second car swerved and hit me, I did not see any brake lights after they hit, in fact, they sped up. I did not see them hit a third vehicle and did not even realize there was a third vehicle until the insurance informed me of what was on the police report.
It was my word against the second car, and the third car confirmed the second car's story to the insurance, insurance ruled it was my fault.
I am challenging the insruance's decision, but what can I do here? I have left several more messages for the officer to call me back, but he hasnt as of yet. My local insurance agent is helping me with some further investigation on the insurance side of things, but the claims dept said with the other two stories matching, as well as the police repor
