i have a great two yr old named cadence leigh. her father has always had a struggle with drugs off and on throughout the yrs but when he and i were together i assumed he had the urges under control. we stayed together for 3 yrs and he just walked out 1 day when our daughter was 3 months old. he has lived in 2 apts since then and now he lives in a drug community. the apartments are trashed and theres partying all of the time. he has no custody rights, due to a magistrate and a judge ordering that he needed to get his life in order and by no means he have any rights or visitation. he hasnt paid child support since july. it is hard because she asks for him all of the time and for the past 2 months i have taken her to his apt and stayed with her and him and watched him snort pills up his nose with our daughter in the livingroom. i know it is wrong to even take her there, but it pulls at my heart to watch her cry and to ask for her father. he is so good with her when they are together and they have always had the strongest of bonds and he turns it all around on me until i get to the point and give in. i love him so much and want him to get help and i love our child so much that i just feel like keeping her from him will damage her in the long run. it isnt just pills now, its heroin, drinking, coke and basically all he can get his hands on. i buy dinner and put groceries in the house when i go there and last weekend i met his roomate and he is 65 yrs old and drinks a lot of beer. i dont know what to do...can someone please help

i want to know if should bother contacting her again after a few days given the history we have from the past few weeks.
im in college. week before halloween we met at a party, talked all night, exchanged numbers. she txted me after that she found the shuttle stop back to campus (i gave directions).
the next thurs (oct 30) we meet for coffee. halloween weekend we tried to meet up at a party but couldnt. we talked end of the weekend and she said we should hang out coming week. i had mad exams and projects that week and i told her this and she said no worries.
at this time i asked her to my fraternity's semiformal for 2 weeks later on nov 14. she said yes, i was happy.
now its sat nov 8, i invite her to my friends party, she surprises me about 1130 that night by hugging me from behind. about 1230 party gets broken up by cops, my friend tells me i can stay and i ask her and she wants to go back in but cops wont let us so we walk around the block for a while. we talk a lot and chill on peoples stoops and cuddle a bit, then i walk her to the campus shuttle stop.
next wednesday nov 12 we meet for dinner and then walk around campus after. i show her some shortcut from the dorms to the social science classes up the hill. we end up chilling in the academic quad, sitting on a bench talking and i make my move (kiss) and she is receptive. night goes on, we walk back, i walk her to dorm, we kiss before we say good night.
2 days later fri nov 14 she told me shes excited fo rthe semi. i pick up her, my friend, and his date (who is also friend of my girl) and we go to someones house for happy hour before bus takes us to the club. when we get there i compliment her because she looke dstunning. on the bus, we talked a lot and exchanged smiles a lot. at the club( more like a lounge), we chilled with people, and later on danced a bit, and shared some really nice kisses. on the bus back, i held her because she was tired and we cuddled some. we end the night with a kiss.
i ask her if she wnats to go to a ska/reggae concert im going to the next night she says let her know about it. so next day i text her details and turns out she had been sleeping (she is on school soccer team( because she was tired from the soccer game in the morning so she passed on the concert, no big deal i thought.
then next tuesday nov 18 we meet for coffee. whereas a coupl eweeks ealier she had continually looked at the clock because she had class to go to, this time it seemed she had no concern of time and was just into spending time with me, as i was the one who reminded her she would be late to class. 2 days later thurs nov 20 i text her to do something the next night, no answer. next morning fri nov 21 i text her hey did you get my text yesterday, no answer. friday night comes and goes, now it the end of saturday night, i havent seen or heard her since coffee on tuesday.
we go to a big school so i never see her around campus randomly. and her phone is busted and doesnt register incoming calls (i have seen this firsthand, its not bs) so calling isnt really an option because she also doesnt check voicemails often. on top of this, she is not big on texting so i try to keep it short usually just to make plans.
i dont get it, why now of all times is she not responding after all the seeming positive times we had the past few weeks when she never said no to making plans and was always receptive to kissing.
where did i go wrong? should i try reaching out in a few days?
We had our son's 6th birthday there this afternoon. They were late setting up our table, late bringing out the food and had to skip over opening presents because it was a mad-house in there and they didn't have enough time for it! Anyone had similar experiences?

Ok. I was with my cousin yesterday(he's 22 im 19) and he calls me up to go to the museum of arts w/ him for an extra credit assignment. I like hanging out with him(were both guys) and we've been hanging out almost every weekend the for the past year and a half. Anyways, we get lost bc he doesnt follow directions, and i'll admit that i was talking smack to him but it was all joking bc i was laughing and he was smiling. After driving around the city for 2 1/2 hrs, we finally decide to jsut forget about it and go to the mall bc he had to buy some dress shoes. I was kind of pissed that he wasted 2 1/2 hrs of my time bc he didnt want to follow the directions and on top of that I was super hungry and it was freezing out side. The whole time we were in the car we were joking about how we would beat each other up and everything once we got home. So finally we get into the mall and eat and then he gets his shoes and we get in the car to go home. Everything is fine and all of a sudden he starts talking all this shitt to me and he was being serious about it. He was throwing all this stuff in my face about my relationship w/ my parents(which is totally irrelavant) and saying that I have a serious attitude problem. Remember that this is out of NOWHERE!! Then he goes on to say "Do you know how many parties i missed out on just so i could hang out w. you?" and i told him that "I never asked for you to hangout w/ me and that you always call ME up on the weekends asking to hangout" this is totally ridiculous i know. He then goes on to say "Get the hell out of your shell your a pssy! (I dont have any trouble attracting girls but im kind of a quiet guy and shy at times) Anyways, as we keep on driving he continues to talk shitt and at this point, i just kept quiet bc it was useless talking to him bc he obviously was acting like an idiot. Then he pulls into an empty dark parking lot and turns off his headlights and says "You wanna talk all this shitt, then get the fcuk out of the car and do something" I said "Take me to my car and stop acting tough" so he gets out of his side and comes over to mine, opens the door and jerks on my arm trying to pull me out of the car. I must have told him 3 times to just take me to my car warning him not to do this. At this point i thought "Fcuk it" and we just starting fighting. We didnt punch each other but we did wrestle and I pinned him in like 10 seconds. He taps and then tries to go at it again. Once more, i get him on the ground and put him in a choke hold (remember that he is 22 and acting like a little kid right now wanting to fight). He taps again and then he tries to do it again, and so do i. I get on top of him and tell him "What the fcuk is your problem?!?" (this was the 3rd or 4th time I pinned him on the ground) The he gets up and starts crying about how he hates his life and he has an anger managment problem(this spoiled brat has everything he wants, a new car, a big house, his family has money and he doesnt even have to work. *Memorial High School- I live in one of the richest parts of Houston and my
house is the size of a Dinosaur. If I am a girl I drive a Mercedes or BMW,
if I am a guy I drive a Tahoe or some other kind of large SUV. We are like
Bellaire and Lamar times 10. Our school is about as diverse as an
Abercrombie catalogue and looks just like it. We party every weekend
because we are rich, bored and have nothing else better to do with our
lives. Our football team is pretty good and Roger Clemens' son went here I
think. We say we have the "hottest girls in Houston " and we mean it. Our
mascot is the same as the ultimate snob college: SMU. I am a Mustang.
*Katy,Taylor and Cinco HS - I live in an area that is really nice but its
cheap as hell.Our parents could not afford to live in memorial or
bellaire.I might drive a car that is worth more than my house. We are
considered "hicks" by the inner houston kids.If im a girl i am blonde and
will probably have skin cancer really soon. Our football team is among the
best in the nation due to D-ball and other steroids.We have field parties

*St. Thomas High School- I am probably white and preppy or I drive a big
truck and pretend to be a cowboy. My truck has a lift and giant wheels even
though I live in River Oaks. My granddaddy, my dad, my uncle and my
brothers went to St. Thomas , I couldnt go anywhere else or I would be dead.
We act like homosexuals, but if you show any signs of actual homosexuality
you are as good as dead. We go to football games, but we don't cheer or
give a shit because our team sucks and all we are interested in is meeting
girls. I haven't seen a minority in years. I hate fish, I love beer. I am

*St. Pius High School- Even though I am probably white and middle class, I
pretend to act like a prep or a cowboy. I am neither because I can not
afford the clothes and accessories to be those things. I either got
rejected from St. Thomas or St. Agnes and thats why I am here. My school is
a dump, but I don't care because we have girls, unlike St. Thomas . We hate
St. Thomas because they are a real school and call them "gay" even though
we have more gay students. I think our football team is good, but I dont go
to games because I don't own a car. I am a Panther.
*Lamar High School- I am either a rich white kid or desperately poor. We
have so many cliques because for some reason every group under the Sun goes
to our school. There are the "IB Students" who segregate themselves from
the normals. Our school is the size of a small town in Texas and our school
would explode if we had anymore people. Football team? Yeah I they are good
but I dont go to games because either I am too busy with my mercedes or
can't afford to attend the games. I am a Redskin.
*Strake Jesuit College Preparatory- I live in Sugarland or some other suburb
and I have long hair. I drive a Passat because I pretend to be an
environmentalist. It doesnt matter who you talk to on our campus, they have
all smoked pot at one point. Even though we are snobs who couldnt care less
about other people we pretend to be "men for others". I hate people from
Katy almost as much as I hate St. Thomas . For some reason my school is
located between Chinatown and a ghetto. We have a good football team, but I
wasnt allowed to play any sports because I wasn't recruited. I love St.
Agnes girls, any other girls are scum. I play hacky sack, I dip and I
listen to Phish. I am a Crusader.
*Bellaire High School- I live in a city that considers itself too good for
the city of Houston . Even though I am rich, I am not above using lots of
drugs and behaving like a total ass. There are lots of hot girls at my
school, but they are all reserved for football and baseball players. I hate

point in my life, but I sucked. I drive an SUV or a sports car and I love

i am poor.We hate westside and they hates us.I go to a school with no
windows. Theres never anything to do on the weekends except for
whataburger. Unlike memorial kids...i dont drive a brand new BMW,but a used
lexus. I know everything about everybody and everybody knows everything
about me.I go to parties that get busted before they even start.We are
known for our prude girls and having the best good looking guys.Our
football team always gets their ass kicked by Memorial... I am a Spartan.
*St. Agnes Academy- I am probably a rich girl. I drink a lot and if I'm
really adventurous, I smoke. Mommy and Daddy wanted me to go to a school in
a "Christian" environment, so they put me in the biggest dram
a filled shark
tank in the city of Houston . For the St. Thomas/Strake rivalry, we choose
sides by which school has the cutest guys. We are the ultimate sister
school, not IWA or Duschene. We also have an all boys school next door,
unlike them. HAHA. We love to have dances, even though they usually suck. I
would be in a sport, but omygawsh have you seen their uniforms. I am a
Tiger.
*Episcopal High School- I live in the Bellaire area, but it doesnt really
matter where I live because I still have more money than you. I am rich
beyond your wildest dreams, yet I constantly screw up and get busted with
drugs. If you don't have a laptop you better get one and if you dont have a
BMW or Mercedes you better get one. Did I mention we really love drugs
here. Even though we are a "religious" school, we have almost no religion
in our lives at all. Our lacrosse team is pretty good, but I don't even
know what that is. Have fear, I am A Knight.

a resort and since we
are a new school, we have not been totally filled with undesirable people,
drugs and crime(until now). I live either in the ghetto or in a rich
area(probably the ghetto).Our school is full of New Orleans kids.We provide
most of the drugs to all the rich schools,and break into their cars while

super rich schools like Episcopal and Kinkaid, so we suck. We claim to be
private, but we have no religion classes or real religious affliliation. We
used to be called the rebels, but we thought that would offend minority
students, but we dont have any of those. I a

*Westbury High School- We used to be a great school kinda like Lamar or
Bellaire. But once integration started in the 1970's our school went to
hell. My school is in a middle class suburb, but almost none of the white
kids in the area go to my school. If I am white that means I am a total
screw-up. Even Black students are no longer going here, because of how much
our teams suck. We like to "defend our turf" against New Orleans kids. Even
though we are mostly minorities, our mascot is a major Confederate symbol.

I have to wear aircast boot for the next few weeks. I have to keep it on all the time other than when I am changing or shower? After walking outside, the bottom of the boot becomes dirty, how should I clean it (before wearing it to bed)?

ok so my girlfriend and i are on a long distance relationship... and last year, for her 18th birthday, i sent 18 guys to give her red roses at different times of the day and on each rose, there was a puzzle piece of a letter i made (i cut my letter into 18 pieces). then the final rose (which is the 18th rose) was supposed to be given by me but then as you know, we're on a long distance relationship..so i got another extra 18 guys with 17 roses and 1 red rose held by my best bud (they would be the ones to represent me)...so when they went to the party, every single one in the house, went outside to look at whats going on...and my 18 guys sang for my girlfriend and each one of them gave a message in my behalf...i also gave her a box with 500 reasons why i loved her and a video too...it was really a big birthday gift...
SO ANYWAY, going back to my question (sorry for the whole story. im just really proud of what i did for her. haha) her birthday's comin' up real soon and i wanted to sing for her birthday. i made a short film about my life going on here without her and at the last part of my movie, i would sing to her.. i wanted to sing something sweet but not cheesy..you know what i mean? well ive recently had a pending traffic ticket and now im worried. well this is the story me and my friends went to some party and we took two cars one was my brothers and the other was my friends. it was around 9pm when we got there.
and Around 12am my friends girl friend had to be home at that time so we decided to take her home. my friend had drank so he told me if i could drive so i did. it was around 1am when i stoped on the street where my friends girlfriends house was at.when a police car flashes his lights on my face from his car.
my brothers car was the only car behind me. so i start driving slowly and make a turn hoping they wont follow me. when i see their lights flashing thats when i notice i was getting stopped but why?
and they ended up giving me a impeding traffic ticket. but i had told the officer that the car in behind me was my brothers car and he said that i have to fight it at court then.

OK, well it started like this:
I was my friends birthday party/sleepover last night, and all 5 of us had our cell phones out. This one girl (let's call her M) was looking at my phone for like ten minutes and I was wondering what she was doing so long on it. M and her friend, J, were laughing for a bit. Then M was about to give it back and she goes, "Oh look you just got a text from Sam" (who is my friend who's a guy).

After I read that I was just like "What??!!!" Cuz I hadn't been texting him or anyone for that matter. I was gonna text him back but I found out i had no credit left, which was weird bcuz I was sure that I had 62c left before M was fiddling w/my phone...
So I borrowed M's phone, xplained I had no credit so I was using her phone and asked him wtf he's on about, and he texted back saying "u askd me out"
!!!
I asked M and J if they had anything to do with it but they denyed it, and nobody else had even TOUCHED my phone. I checked my outbox and it had one failed message saying "yes". Whatever THAT was about..
Then I told him I was at J's house and he said that he thinks they are lying cuz the message came from my phone.

It's really suspicious though because:

I'm planning on writing a story about my best friend Toby and his girlfriend/my favorite chicka Amara. Anyways, these two I believe are kind of like a love story.
Amara and I met couple of months ago let's say 6 months ago. I told her all about Toby and she was so interested. Then I told Toby about Amara and he seemed rather interested too. Three days before they were supposed to meet at a house party I was in the grocery store with Toby. I went to go grab something out of this one isle and Amara was there. Then Toby came around the corner and they met. When there eyes met each others the vibe and connection was so strong anyone 10 isles away would've felt it. They are my favorite couple! They are so opposite, they complete each other but anyways they started dating that month and now they are still together. It's only six months in but the love is undeniable.

However we still went to her that house that night and we didn't talk all night and it was awkward. Okay here's the thing. I couldn't go to sleep until 3:30 am last night due to my neighbors and the fact that they are vampires and stay up all night partying. Okay they are not really vampires, but come on 3:30 in the morning. Called the cops last night. Took them a friggin' hour and a half to get here, and I live in the city. I called after 45 minuets and they said they know about the call, but they had to take care of the more important calls first. I told her "I had know idea I lived in such a high crime city." Which I don't. That was just me with lack of sleep.
I'm having a 3rd birthday party for my son at our house tomorrow and there will be about 10 kids there and, counting my hubby and I and neighbors who might stop by, 15 adults. I'm sitting here trying to figure out how much pizza I will need and soda and chips. I am happy to have the party for my son, he is so excited about it, but I am amazed at how much it costs to have a party for a child. Between the presents, party favors for the kids,and the food.......it's a lot of $$. Now I'm expecting #2 in January. Just wondering what everyone else does? Ok,so there is this girl in one of my classes that I like. Now she is new to the area and I have only been talking to her for about 2 maybe 3 months. We talk just about everyday and talk about a good number of things. Now about 2-3 weeks ago, she said she wouldn't date anbody in the class because she doesn't know them well enough. So i invited her over to my house to a party and we talked and had a good time. Now my questions are, do you think i should tell her i like her and where. Also, we have the same lunch shift and how should i go about asking to sit with her?
I've been with this guy for almost a year now and we're engaged. For about a week now, he's been acting SO different. He's been helping his uncle around the house and he uses that as an excuse to not call me all day. The other day, we got into this HUGE fight and he said that he would never change for me (because he parties a lot and i don't really like it that much) and that i'm crazy, insane and i have to talk to him 24/7. which i don't, i just want to hear from him once a day.
and I was crying horribly for awhile and he comes in and just asks me to cry quieter so he can make his food in peace.
I know that I shouldn't stay with him because he always takes things out on me, yells at me, makes me cry over things almost everyday and he never calls anymore.
His mom cannot believe he's doing this, and I'm in tears just talking about it. We've broken up twice before, and I just can't leave him. Even if I deserve better. I just don't think I could ever get anyone else that would treat me better. All of this has put me in major depression lately which makes him mad. He gets mad at me if I'm upset at all because "he can't seem to make me happy."
Any advice on what to do, things I should do for confidence or anything would help.

I am 5'11 half italian, half brazilian, and blah blah people basically think I am a player or jock. I am in college and a sophomore. The problem is, I hate everything college kids love. I like to drink, but not to excess and make a big deal out of it like kids here. Its not that big of a deal, yet people blow it out proportion they got smashed or drunk this weekend. I rather have a couple of beers/wine and actually hold convos or have a small party at someones house. I love to read and go to the library on weekends and actually get some good reading in, and I go to movies all the time, almost 2-3 times a month. I love traveling, and want to go backpacking in Australia and actually go on an adventure, like through the woods and jungle and what not. I also volunteer all the time and walk dogs and help mentally disabled kids get guidance and a friend. I basically want to explore the world and go to events, museums, concerts, blah blah. Sorry for this rant, It just seems everything is so Paris Hilton and Reality TV nowadays. I was the star athlete in high school, So i know what its like to be popular, and its boring and fake and plasticky.
Am I doomed for being a nerd on the inside, yet something opposite on the outside? And thats what I am looking for in the opposite sex, hahaha I know impossible
I work with a married couple (we're EMTs). The man is my partner at work. For some reason or another his wife is so insecure about her marriage that she thinks I am trying to get with her husband. She has gone as far as to go to the boss and tell her that I need to be reassigned to another partner! Thing is: neither one of us wanted another partner--we were completely in sync with our routine. So I lost my partner!
This woman still wants to be friends with me for some reason. I think it's one of those keep your enemies closer things.
So her birthday party is tomorrow at their house and they both invited me. Just got off the phone with the husband (who wanted to know if I was coming). I'm not sure if I should go though.
What do you think about this situation? And should I go to the party? And what the hell gift do you buy for someone who's gonna use it against you later?

with a sleepover this is the schedule:
3-5: bowling
5-6: dinner
7-9: home, cake, games, etc
then sleepover and stufff
but without a sleepover im thinking
12-2: bowling
2-3: lunch
3:30-6: games and stuff at my house
6-7: more games

I am having a group of like 15 friends over on a Saturday night in December (indoors). We need like awesomeee ideas for what to do- were religious so we dont touch so no parties or anything inappropriate please. We need like an amazing activity to do in the house- anything would be appreciated!
I'm 13, turning 14 in a few months and it seems like there are only a few good people in my school. Like, most people go to house parties on Fridays, get drunk, get high, give hand jobs and all those stupid things. Like were only 13!! I'm scared that in high school I'm not gonna have that many friends :( Right now I'm just normal at my school, nobody's my enemy, I'm friends with everyone (not bestfriends though), and I'm not a loner or anything like that. I like where I am, but I just wish that everyone could stop being so naughty lol :P So should I just not pay attention to those people, or what??
Alright so first off, my parents don't have many rules and are the kind of the "take a key and be back home anytime" sort-of parents who are never really around and spend more attention on the phone then with their children. I was basically raised by nannies until I was 10.
Keep in mind that my parents love my boyfriend more than they me. They give him a lot of presents, my dad even gave him his old rolex for his birthday. Our family has known theirs for a long time. Also keep in mind that my mom is an alcoholic and is always at a fund-raising party or a friends cocktail party. My dad is a business man who is always on the phone and will be in jail for Fraud for the next 6 or-so years starting Dec. 1
MY PROBLEM:
They are getting a lot stricter. So first my parents said I was too old for boy/girl sleepovers (I'm almost 14). I was fine with that because I think I'm too old for them too. Now they're not even letting me hang out with my boyfriend unless my older brother is there to supervise. This means that I'm not allowed to go to movies with my friends unless I prove to them no guys are going. I'm also not allowed over at my boyfriends house even if his parents are around. I'm not even allowed to be in the kitchen -- a room that isn't even enclosed my doors -- without my dad checking up on me every 10 seconds.
My dad isn't the type of "I love you so much" type of person either! He's always very serious and has never, in my entire life, kissed me, hugged me, told me he loved me, or anything.
I haven't kissed my boyfriend in over a month (they do allow me to have a boyfriend though) because of these super strict rules! Holding hands underneath of a pillow doesn't quit cut it. We used to play "manhunt" (with my brothers and a lot of friends) outside and make out in the woods, but they don't even let me do that anymore!
What do I do? These rules are WAY out of hand now! It's SO hard to sneak around with my boyfriend!
Please DON'T say I'm "too young" for a boyfriend. I really love him and he really loves me. Love can be understood no matter what age.
I want a multiplayer game to play for my little sister. She already has and likes animal crossing, nintendogs, mario kart, mario party, monkey ball
She has and doesn't like over the hedge, monster house, brain age
And Super Mario Bros, Big Brain Academy and Yoshi Island are ok.
Maybe A High School Musical game or Hannah Montana if any are multiplayer and fun.
Also if anyone knows how to play Hannah montana the one with the guitar and drums please tell me because i want to know how to play that. I am thinking of getting her that.

So my bf left for the army about 2 months ago and i told him i would stand by his side all the the way and that i would be a good gf. so anyways I work at hooters and yes i meet alot of guys there and hang out with them and party but no harm in that if i dont do anything so i went out with one of the girls from work and i ended up kissing two boys ya ya i know that was stupid of me so i told him i am the kind of person that doesnt keep a secret behind my bf's bike so he forgave me. I am the kind of girl that loves to hang out with boys but when i hang out with them i dont do anything with them i just kissed those two on the cheek for a thank you for helping me not on the lips. so the other night i ended up staying at my friends house two night in a row which is a guy and the bf called he asked what i was doing and i told him i was at home but the nxt day i confessed and told him the truth. But my guy friends are like girls to me and im like guys to them so harm done so he freaked and we were supposed to be getting married next year and now i dont think its going to happen. i am going to his base next week and he told me i dont care if you come i think you should just what until christmas for me to see you let things cool done thats what he told me. What do i do he ask me so many questions on do i care and i say yes but he doesnt believe me..... What do i do i love him i want to see him....... i want to have answers for what im doing... o ya he gave me lots and lots of rules now.... every since he left his attitude towards me is so rude and demanding its not him :(
